Dr. Jane Chi-Yan Wong is a Specialist in Clinical Immunology & Allergy and currently serves as Associate Consultant at Queen Mary Hospital (QMH) and Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). She is currently the service lead in many non-allergist led penicillin delabelling services including a territory-wide Hong Kong Drug Allergy Delabelling Initiative (HK-DADI). Her research interests include urticaria, angioedema, and hereditary angioedema. Currently, she is pursuing her Doctorate and Master of Public Health degrees at HKU and is a recipient of the University Grants Council Targeted Taught Postgraduate Programmes Fellowships. Dr. Wong has received numerous awards, notably the Distinguished Research Paper Award for Young Investigator for Best Research Team and Best Presenter from the Hong Kong College of Physicians, the Young Investigator Award from the Asia Pacific Society of Immunodeficiencies and HAEi Regional Conference for her work in hereditary angioedema. She actively contributes to the academic community as an editor for Allergy, Asthma & Clinical Immunology, convenor of the Hong Kong Society of Rheumatology’s Special Interest Group in Immunology, and co-chair of the Education, Training, and Fellowships Subcommittee of the Hong Kong Institute of Allergy. Additionally, she is a member of the Junior Members Group Committee of the World Allergy Organization.
