Prof. Philip Li is Hong Kong’s first locally trained Specialist in Immunology & Allergy and is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). He serves as Division Chief of Rheumatology & Clinical Immunology at HKU and HKU Shenzhen Hospital. He is also President of the Hong Kong Institute of Allergy, Board Director of APAAACI, and Secretary of the International Societies Council of EAACI.

His clinical and research interests include drug allergy, immunodeficiency, and urticaria/angioedema. He established Hong Kong’s first specialist Immunology & Allergy training centre and leads the territory wide Drug Allergy Delabelling Initiative (HK DADI). Prof. Li has authored over 200 peer reviewed publications and contributed to major regional and international guidelines, including as lead author of the Asia Pacific penicillin allergy testing pathway.
