Dr. Yi-Jing Zhao

Dr. Yi-Jing Zhao graduated from NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in 2011 and joined the SingHealth Internal Medicine Residency in 2011. Thereafter, she joined the Neurology Senior Residency Program in 2014 and the National Neuroscience Institute in 2018. Dr. Zhao set up the headache service at the National Neuroscience Institute, Singapore General Hospital Campus and is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate doctorate programmes, and allied health education on headache conditions. She was also part of the founding committee for the Headache Society of Singapore in 2018. She is currently the co vice-president and treasurer of the Headache Society of Singapore. She is also the lead author for formulating the Clinical Practice Guideline for Headache in Singapore, as part of the initiatives of the Headache Society of Singapore. Given her subspecialty of choice, Dr. Zhao has been involved in several international and local clinical trials as principal investigator, leading on novel migraine CGRP therapies that are emerging globally.
