Dr. Chariene Woo is an Associate Consultant in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong. She received her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Hong Kong in 2015 and completed her specialist fellowship training in 2022.

Her clinical interests include pituitary neuroendocrine tumours, transitional diabetes care for adolescents and young adults, and optimizing cardio kidney metabolic health management. In 2025, she established the Diabetes Joint Clinic in collaboration with the Department of Paediatrics to strengthen transitional care pathways within the Hong Kong West Cluster. The service adopts a youth centred model that integrates scheduled clinic visits with thematic workshops addressing elements of youth culture and diabetes self management, aiming to empower young people as they transition to adult care and to support sustained, optimal diabetes outcomes into adulthood.

Dr. Woo is an active educator and has been invited to speak at various professional forums and educational events. Her most recent engagements include the 2025 EDMHK Nursing Workshop, where she presented on anti-diabetic agents with weight-modifying properties.
