Professor Bobby Chacko is an esteemed clinician and academic, specializing in nephrology and renal transplantation. As the Director of Renal Services at John Hunter Hospital and a full-time practicing clinician, he manages a significant patient load, offering him a unique perspective on real-world evidence in renal care. His clinical expertise spans diabetic kidney disease, IgA nephropathy, Hypertension, cardio-renal syndrome, and renal transplantation.
Professor Chacko is also deeply committed to advancing research and education in nephrology. He serves as the National Scientific Leader for clinical trials in IgA nephropathy and diabetic kidney disease and holds a conjoint appointment at the University of Newcastle.
