Prof. Charles Inderjeeth is Clinical Professor of Medicine and Pharmacology at the University of Western Australia and Clinical Dean at Curtin University. He is uniquely distinguished as a triple specialist in Clinical Epidemiology, Rheumatology, and Geriatric Medicine, positioning him as a leading authority on bone health and aging. He serves as Director of Clinical Training, Research, and Programs at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Osborne Park Hospital, where he led the development of the award winning Western Australian Osteoporosis Model of Care. This internationally recognized Fracture Liaison Service has demonstrated strong cost effectiveness in reducing re-fracture rates and earned him the 2022/2023 Distinguished Service Award for Sustained Overall Excellence.

Prof. Inderjeeth is a Principal Investigator at Linear Clinical Research, leading multinational Phase I-III clinical trials in collaboration with global pharmaceutical companies.

He is also a founding member of the WARDER research group, which established Australia’s first population wide data linkage study on rheumatic disease outcomes spanning over 35 years.

A co-author of Australia’s national clinical practice guidelines for osteoporosis and sarcopenia, he has authored more than 250 scientific publications. His work has significantly influenced osteoporosis management, fracture prevention, and integrated geriatric rheumatology care worldwide.
